Not only do these processes and principles need to be followed, but an enforceable tendering legislation is also required to ensure that these regulations are followed. The Tendering techniques may differ from one project to another. This study includes some of the tendering techniques and the different explanations on these techniques. In this report, the Tendering management of Shwe Nyaung-Hti Ri- Lay Mile Gway road which is located in Taunggyi, Southern Shan State is clearly discussed with explanations of each tendering procedures. The process includes the tendering strategy, tendering procedures, materials tendering, tendering document preparation, tender selection processes, proposal assessment systems, winning tenderer announcement, and owner-contractor contract. Furthermore, the analysis of the tendering management and the recommendation to improve are also presented. Also, it discusses the lessons learnt by analyzing the tendering management system and by preparing this study.
