Use of reflector array for beam daylighting in building interior

Daylighting features includes insulated roof, double ceilings, 2-dimensional reflector arrays and diffusing acrylic sheet as the light distribution exit system which minimize the glare. The daylighting system design is based on the projection theory, treating the reflctor array as light source that is to projected towards a target area on the ceilings from which the incoming beam is diffused and distributed. The target area towards which the light reflected from the reflector is selected base on the criteria of objective. The orientation of the reflector array is predicted by the Qbasic program and selected for the experiment. For a given room's orientation, the performance of reflector array is expressed as luminous efficiency with which reflector using different angle may be compared. The flux transfer method is implemented in beam daylighting analysis.
