The DSSMC consists of three major components: a data base, a mode base and a suggestion base. The data on mobile communications in Taiwan area, which were collected from D'GT, come into the data base of the DSSMC. Each kind of data was found to have its own mathematical model. The collection of these models builds the model base. Employing these models, we can forecast the future value for every component like the users number, the operating revenues, the operating income and so on. According to the forecasted values, we can deploy our resources to accommodate the future requirements for mobile communications. At last, the suggestion base provides the decision maker with some feasible alternatives to speed up the planning and approval of budget for mobile communications on behalf of the DGT.
