It is necessary to support two sources of fundamental problem, data sharing and synchronization between concurrent processes in distributed system where there are no shared memory. A mechanism, object server, that manages the shared data objects and provides synchronization between processes should be developed to overcome these problem. RPC is a message passing method which can be used as a vehicle to facilitates the framework of client-server model. Shared data object can be organized in several form. The primitive object type, single data item object and multiple data items object, can be built into a more complex object type. Objects are also classified into two types, write-once and write-many. This is based on access method to the object. Several operations such as allocation/deallocation, read/write and read-modify-write,can be performed on them. The object table is managed by a local server to keep track information about each object. An object is uniquely iqentified by table entry slot number, generated by random number generator, and server host identifier where the object table is cited.
