A computer program is written in Applesoft Basic and follows the previous work which was in accordance with the basic requirements of the ACT Building Code. The structural modelling of a building is first introduced, then, the approach adopted to achieve the aim of the project is discussed. The organization of the microcomputer package which is planned not to interrupt any of the existing processes is also taken into account. A user manual for the use of the program is given. Finally, information concerning the numerical example and figures produced are presented to illustrate the efficiency and reliability of the program.
