The study of the agriculture system in Keo Ou Dome District but emphasis to agroforestry, Agro-forestry is very importance and necessary to promote in the upland cultivation ,Agroforestry is comprising all land use in agriculture system , which combining tree and agriculture crops or live stock and it is being practiced in many ways or techniques. This study evaluated the benefit of agroforestry practice in a village in Vientiane province, Lao PDR The objective of the study were: (!) to describe some agroforestry bring practices (2) assess the farmer views forward agroforestry systems and the opportunities and constraints for promotion, (3) to indicate possible measure to promote agroforestry. The study was conducted through a survey of thirty nine Household have been practiced and twenty have been practiced in Ban Houay Khong village. Datas were collected from two main sources: primary and secondary sources. Primary data were gathered from personal interviews with the head of household by using a structured questionnaire. Secondary data were collected from published reports by available Department of Forestry, and other published report relevant agencies. Agro-forestry scheme to the improve productivity and conserve soil to achieve sustainability of agro-forestry were presented. The establishment of the agro-forestry and the benefit of agro-forestry in upland, finding of various agroforestry practice in the community setting and describe in process of working with community to identify and adapt agroforestry practices to meet local need. The finding some indicated of potential to promote agroforestry, There for the interesting of people in the study area, and condition of source quite suitable for promotion as land suitability climate, socio-economic and regional development need. another source the Government policy also want to reforestation though promoting agroforestry. agroforestry provide various benefit for the rural people for improving their living. and demand of the market still need agriculture produce. So the agroforestry should be promoted for upland area and all country, should research the suitability of methodolo!,ry in each system for that area, agroforestry can related with income are important should consider toward for development in the rural area in Lao PDR.
