In Myanmar, studies on agriculture sector development have been conducted from the economic, social, environmental, and other perspective. However, little research has been undertaken from the Conservation Agriculture (CA) perspective. Understanding local knowledge and practices on CA is very important. In this study, a combination of descriptive and inferential analysis was adopted, and performed regression analysis. The sample consisted of 130 farming households practicing some kind of conservation agriculture practices in the central dry zone of Myanmar. It was found that conservation agriculture practices had both positive and negative effects on livelihoods, depending on the type of practice and the type of livelihoods. CA practices had positively effects in the economic aspect and environmental aspect. However, social livelihoods were negatively affected.
