Eng.) - Asian Institute of Technology, 2014 Summary: This study was proceeded to evaluate GHG emission of the Asian Institute of Technology in academic year 2013. This research was study in term of corporate sector, which mean only activity that owned by AIT. The study was considered in two scopes that emitting greenhouse gases (GHGs) in term of carbon dioxide equivalent(CO2eq). The first scope was direct emissions sources from AIT{u2019}s vehicle fleet, people travel for business work with vehicles owned by AIT, Fossil fuel combustion on-campus and refrigerant leakage from refrigeration system. The second scope was indirect emission source from purchase electricity consumption. The study shows that Asian Institute of Technology had emitted 6,456.958202 tCO2eq per year and the highest emission scope was the electricity consumption which contributed to 99% of the total GHGs emission of the campus. GHG emission inventory is one of the important tools for reduce greenhouse gas and it can provide the much of future mitigation efforts in AIT.
