The question asked by many companies is whether or not the environment is suitable for foreign investors. With huge foreign inflows predicted, there are many opportunities available to service foreign investors in Myanmar. Given the risks and opportunities of moving into a new market, this project analyses the options for a telecommunications and engineering services company to expand business into Myanmar. The project focuses on customers from the telecommunications, oil and gas, mining and utility sectors. Analysis methods used included five forces model, PEST analysis, SWOT analysis, industry attractiveness and general commentary to present findings. Collection of data was done in cooperation with the focus company as well as a five day trip to Yangon, Myanmar meeting with over 14 different entities engaged in local and foreign investment projects. In addition, secondary data was collected from articles, reports and government websites related to Myanmar
