The model is intended to be used in development of accurate localization algorithm by using radio signal strength. Formulas are based on the linear polarized infinitesimal dipole antenna and loop antenna (magnetic dipole antenna) and derived separately for line of sight and multi-path systems with and without antenna rotation. This thesis analyzes numerically the derived formulas with the matlab program for different cases. The program takes into account line of sight power, first order reflection from ground and walls of outdoor environments with different antenna heights. We find that power received by fixed receiver from the rotated transmitter varies with transmitter orientation leaving effects in localization. We also analyze the ratio of received power of line of sight and reflected waves in highly reflecting environment and less reflecting environment to evaluate the effects of varying antenna heights with rotation
