This study presents an analysis of the accessibility of nodes in the Bangkok road network and gives the most accessible location(s) for distribution center or warehouse. By means of the Dijlrntra algorithm, accessibility values are computed for each node by summing shortest travel times to a set of reference nodes evenly spread over the Greater Bangkok Area. The most accessible location for general and for a specific application are discussed. Relative accessibility measure was presented with respect to the most accessible location in order to view how it covers the whole area of study. As a case study, warehouse location analysis for The Nestle (Thailand) Co., Ltd. was studied. The company is going to locate three warehouses due to increasing demand and transportation problems caused by traffic congestion of Bangkok. At the same time these three warehouses will serve partly other provinces as well. Integral accessibility measure is presented as iso-accessibility map which depicts most accessible region for the study area. Finally, it compares the proposed warehouse location s chosen by the company and the most accessible location which was given by this research study.
