In this investigation a drag study of a hemisphere on a boundary in velocity gradient flow with free surface effects has been made. Six flow fields were investigated adding one variable for evaluation at a time, namely: the semi-infinite uniform and nonuniform flow fields, the finite uniform and nonuniform flow fields without free surface effects and the finite uniform and nonuniform flow field with free surface effects. The results were computed using Tullis's
