Applying R&D project dynamics concepts to construction management - Bangkok : Asian Institute of Technology, 1990 - 104 p. - Research studies project report ; no. IE-90-1 . - Asian Institute of Technology. Research studies project report ; no. IE-90-1 .
A research study submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the award of t he Degree of Master of Engineering, School of Engineering and Technology
Research Studies Project Report (M. Eng.) - Asian Institute of Technology, 1990
This study aims at reviewing the R&D PROJECT MODEL, a system dynamic's simulation model which was publish ed by George P. Richardson and Alexander L. Pugh III in 1981. Analysis of the model behaviors is done, taking into consideration the three prime objectives of project management, namely; meeting specified performance, within cost and on schedule. Lilcewise, identifica tion of the differences between this R&D project model and construction project ma nagement is ma de . Moreover, this system dynamic simulation model will be revised to fit to con - struction project management. Based on the system's concept, experimentation with the revised model attempts to identify appropriate policies concerning at how to improve the construction project management.
