| Summary, etc. | The study concerns the circuit designing, assembling of a constant current battery test bed and characterise the performance of SLI type battery under normal conditions. For this purpose, A controlled battery test bed was assembled. Self Discharge rate of the battery is studied by taking 20 days long data. Stratification ie. aciddencity variations along the column of the cell and capacity loss due to under charging. Internal resistance of the SLI battery during charging and discharging modes at 10 amps. rate Cyclic life of the battery is st udied by charging discharging battery up to 54 cycles. |
