520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. This study identifies solutions for Plan International Vietnam to adapt to the general downward trend of development fund to Vietnam as well as to the organization particularly. The solutions are recommended changes in strategies, systems and processes of the organization. Approach {u2013} The study has followed a Risk Management approach to finally recommend necessary actions for Plan Vietnam to adapt to the fund downward trend. The approach is based on Risk Management Framework ISO 31000:2009 Findings {u2013} Vietnam was declared by the World Bank as a middle income country in 2010 that has affected to development assistance of the world to the country. Many donors have taken actions such as: reduced development assistance funds, supporting more challenging topics, and such reducing technical supports etc{u2026} In this context, although to date, Plan Vietnam is still maintaining the achievement of planned annual budget, the risk of funding reduction for Plan Vietnam in coming years is very high likely that might affect its projects and operations in both short and long term. Practical Implications {u2013} There are high challenges for the management to take significant changes within the organization to mitigate negative impacts of the situation. However, if there is a well prepared risk management planning in place where the risks and problems are identified, rated and assessed properly and necessary strategies are defined reasonably, the organization will be able to make changes and respond to the risk in more proactive way.
