| Summary, etc. | The rapid growth of the Taiwan economy made it attractive to multinational corporations for investment in food industry. The food industry supplies human with their most basic necessity. It is also a productive industry that is responsible for improving our standard of living. Since the food industry process value of agricultural products, it promotes agricultural development and enriches farmers. The food industry also provides job opportunities and raises incomes. So throughout the world, the food industry is valued for its importance to human's existence and its contribution to economic prosperity. Through this research, I hope to assist Taiwanese food process industry manufacturers with their strategic planning for investing in Mainland Chinese food industry and enable them to carefully assess and analyze the market, set far reaching business strategies to improve their chances of success. Therefore, result of the study indicate that Taiwanese food industry companies are finding domestic market gradually becoming saturated, and all types of products are reaching to its' matured stage. Vertical integration, diversification etc. are already been tested by them, but international investment in .Mainland China by Taiwanese food companies could help them in averting all these problems and grow significantly while tapping many benefits like similarities in culture, taste and language. Thus Taiwan food industry companies made brands can quickly occupy Mainland China market will still be more favorable if manufactured in China itself. Thus these companies could become very successful through investment in Mainland China. |
