Summary, etc. The aerodynamic interference effect on standard tall building was investigated by using wind tunnel model tests. The standard principle model of the experiment is the CAARC building. The experiment was conducted inside a boundary layer wind tunnel that simulated a sub-urban wind profile condition. The first part of the experiment was conducted High Frequency Pressure Integration (HFPI) technique to measuring modal forces for fundamental sway modes and torsional mode on isolated case. Moreover, the second part of the experiment investigates the effect by two interfering buildings, geometry of interfering model is same as the CAARC principle model. The correlation coefficient amongst three force components were identified and plotted the contour maps for five interfering cases. From this approach, it was found that the correlation was high between the across wind and torsional moment while there almost no correlation between the other two relation forces in the isolated case, the correlation can be modified by the interference effect, in some case the unfounded high correlation was observed by the existing of the interfering models in all deferent cases. The analysis also focuses on the load combination among the interference effect, load combination from both Probability-base optimization and AIJ recommendation approaches were calculated and compared. The comparison can be explained that the Probability-base optimization technique is convenient for any correlation factors of the structure while the AIJ recommendation approach is appropriate for some limit condition. Another investigation target on the percentage in load case of Probability-base optimization technique, the highest percentage of the secondary load was plotted as a contour map. The pattern of the highest secondary load contour maps is comparable to the correlation coefficient contour, it can be expressed that highest secondary percentage was high when the principle existed on the high force correlation area, On the other hand, the percentage is significantly low caused by the low correlation on that point.
