This paper is concerned with the review and study on the strategy of the technology development in China' s Electronics Industry by focusing the comparison between the two major time phases (before and after 1978). The analysis and opinions of the author are al so given during the review and study. China, in the opinions of Wes tern observers, is a very large and particular country in social system as the outside world, the overall process of the technology development in China are somewhat different with particular characteristics. It would make great senses for this study to identify and analyse the main elements in the development strategy contributing to the successful technology development in recent decade in China This paper is specially designed to give an overall picture of the problems, major achievements and future perspectives in the technology development in China's Electronics Industry that will give the readers the better understanding of the technology evolution process in China. All the information and data given in this study were obtained f r om the selected materials and through interviews.
