The volume of wastewater was found to be 1.16 - 1.47 m /hr with very high in chemical oxygen demand (COD), nitrogen, phosphorus, grease and oil, and suspended solids. Anaerobic stabilization ponds with different loading and detention time were studied. The results showed that the optimum loading and detention time were 1.5 kg. COD/m -d and 8 days, respectively. Effluent from anaerobic ponds was then treated by batch and continuous activated sludge processes. In batch unit the different COD to MLSS ratios and aeration times were studied; the optimum ratio and aeration time obtained were 1.0 an~ 6 hours, respectively, with COD removal efficiency of 96.81. Continuous activated sludge process was then studied by using the ratio of 1.0 and aeration times of 6, 8 and 10 hours, and the result obtained was 96.6% COD removal efficiency with 8 hours of aeration time.
