PP-03-8Publication details: Pathum Thani, Thailand : Asian Institute of Technology, 2003Description: 47 leavesSubject(s): Online resources: Summary: This study was undertaken to explore bleaching of ONP/OMG furnish at a ratio of 80:20 using H20 2 as a bleaching agent. The furnish composed of wood containing pulp. Three Process variable were analyzed: temperature, NaOH and H20 2 charges. It was found that the brightness could be improved upto 58% ISO to 62% ISO depending on chemical charge concentration with a single stage H20 2 bleaching. If this gain is acceptable then the ONP/OMG at the ratio 80/20 would not require another bleaching stage after deinking stage.
