This Research concern s mainly the collection, compilation , analysis a nd evaluation of geotechnical data o n soft soil clay obtained from the result. of laboratory and field tests of soil samples and different site locations in Red River Delta in Hanoi, Vietnam. The laboratory tests performed were as follows physical properties test, index test, odometer test, and direct shear test In addition, three types of in - situ tests were carried out, namely : Dutch cone penetration tests , field vane shear tests, and pressure meter tests.
