Data performed in the study was collected from 334 waterworks located in 10 regional PWA centers. Construction costs were adjusted to the year 1984 and determined in 5 components Intake, Treatment Unit, Distribution Systems, Non Process Parts and Administrative Expenses. O+M costs were also detennined in 5 sections - Chemicals, Energy, Labor, Maintenance materials and miscellaneous. Six mathematical models of construction costs and six of O&M costs were developed from analysis of 334 waterworks data by two methods of regression analysis - SPSS- X program and Curve Fitter program. The comparison of models shows the better applicability of models from SPSS- X program indicated by less standard deviation.
