The study focuses on the SPOT multispectral band data which have high spatial characteristics can be implemented as image map, and use their spectral inf01mation for color visual interpretation. A 1/50,000 topographic map and 1/100,000 guide map were used for change detection. The result fusion maps are compared with their spatial and spectral characteristics. An image base map with old info1mation is produced.
