Energy consumption is a main factor which effect to the emissions. With population and economic growth, two of these parameters are a directly reason on trend of energy used, is expected to increase. This reason can note that residential sector in urban area will become a main source to produce C0₂ emission. As a capital of Thailand, Bangkok city has a high value of population, account for 9 percent of total population in Thailand and it is a centre of all activities. Firstly, the study makes a survey on energy consumption of several types of appliances in residential sector in Bangkok city to get the energy consumption pattern. The data from survey is used to estimate future service demand of each appliance by regression model based on EVIEWs 6 software. After that, Service demand projection is used as input in MARKAL model to analyze C0₂ emission. In additional, the study is analysis on purchasing behavior, the action on appliances when not in use and energy saving views of Bangkok people from the survey
