Most of these countries have established basic legislation empowering government agencies to control different forms of pollutions. This study attempt to analyze the effect of pollution control abatement in a kraft paper manufacturing company by considering the financial situation of the existing operation and evaluating any benefits gained by the company from the environmental protection measures undertaken. A review of Thailand's industrial development with respect to pulp and paper industry and the kind of pollution generated by the said industry in general are also included in the study.
