4-Axis CNC milling on impeller parts

The G-code or NC code for these purposes can be generated in variety of ways. Siemens NX, MeshCAM, BobCAD are some of these. Few among common methods is to obtain the CL coordinates and use inverse kinematics to change the CL points into NC code using appropriate equations. The G code for this thesis was achieved using NX software. They can also use the software such as Microsoft excel to further obtain these results. I used Vericut software to drive the simulation and then the codes were simulated using Flashcut software. The machine worked during the milling was a Sherline 2010 mill and an external fourth axis was mounted with flat end mills and ball nose tool.
