The proposed wind power scheme consists of one, two or three 2.5 MW wind generators whose function is to save reservoir water during windy periods occurring in the dry season. Assuming a payback period of 20 years for the wind generators it has been found that increasing the number of wind generators greatly reduces the cost of the electricity produced, which is expected to fall in the range 0.10 US$ per kWh to 0.03 US$ per kWh.
