For this purpose, extensive simulation runs were performed. The criterion for selecting suitable probability plotting position formula is minimizing the Cramer-Von Mises statistic W2 and the Anderson-Darling statistic A2 From the results of simulations, the most suitable probability plotting position formula for GEV distribution is the Cunnane formula. For LLG distribution, the Benard & Bos-Levenbach formula is recommended. Then, based on recommendations above, a user friendly computer aided package is developed to help the user in probability plotting.
