  <abstract>This  paper  proposes  an  a lgorithm  of   real -time  road   edge  detection   on  an  intelligent  vehicle   using  cameras  based.  In  this  study,  the  car  {u2018}Mitsubishi  Galant{u2019}  is  used  and  modified  for  an   intelligent vehicle. The algorithm use s extensive camera for  finding  the road  edge  on the car.  With  extensive  camera,  it  can  tell  the  pos ition  of  the  car  and  the  shape  of   road.  Moreover,   there  is  the  use  of  Neural  Network  which  can  recognize  situations  on  the  road  to  control  the   car logically and adaptively.</abstract>
