This study is concerned with the development of a system, operable on a microcomputer, which will effectively translate the routine procedures of an experienced electrical engineering engaged in tendering into a set of programs for automatic execution of these tasks. The author has created a data bank and developed an estimating program to process historical data in this data bank. A suitable estimate equation has been found for predicting the costs of electrical projects.
