  <abstract>This research develops a prototype of temporal memory of the Web. It offers a user friendly and visual tool for Web users to store and manipulate the temporal data from tables in  a Web page. It has the capability to parse a HTML document downloaded from the Web to  extract the table data. It allows the users to access a remote database for viewing and  manipulating the temporal data and provides the users with the query interface to facilitate the  extraction of necessary information. The retrieved results from querying will be viewed in the  table format.  The system would be very useful for the users in the statistical analyses of the time dependent parameters in many sectors in the economy (e.g., finance, banking, etc.) during a  certain time interval. By using the system, the time-varying data that contain information of  interests to the users from the Web can be stored in the remote database for the use in the  future. </abstract>
