Appropriate feedback and improvement support are essential factors that constitute the effectiveness of an assessment system. This study proposes an adaptive assessment system that aims to enhance those factors. For each module of knowledge tested, a meaningful feedback is reported which points out exactly which fundamental components included in the module is currently at risk. The system then recommends student review materials and offers multiple traits adaptive assessment, that has ability to focus on improving weak points, as an efficient way to help student improve their performance in these components. Current assessment systems do not support tracking and analysing information as well as provide feedback and tailored support for fundamental components included in assessed module. Due to this fact, the system is proposed as a way to make performance improvement process of student in E-Learning more efficient. The major challenges of this study have been to point out exactly the risk fundamental components and generate a multiple traits adaptive assessment that content focus on improving these weaknesses. The contribution of this study is an E-Business course with embedded adaptive assessment system that can be used over Intranet or Internet. ASP.Net technology and SQL Server are used in implementation.
