  <abstract>HLA  typing  service  in  blood  transfusion  center  of  Srinagarind  Hospital,  Khon  Kaen University is mainly to determine allele pair for each HLA locus which plays an important role  in  organ  transplantation.  Currently,  the  task  is  done  manually,  time-consuming  and requires   carefulness.   To   improve   the   service,   this   thesis   proposed   an   automated interpretation  system  providing  information  to  support  lab  technician  to  interpret  the  lab result.  The  system  was  implemented  using  nearest  neighbor  search  algorithm  to  find  the best  matched  allele  pair  for  the  lab  result.  For  safety  purpose,  system  testing  was performed to verify the developed system. 313 HLA typing cases were used assamples to measure  consistency  rate.  The  result  shows  that  the  consistency  rates  between  the  system and technicians are high (&gt;90%). For usability evaluation, we had two routine technicians tried the system, answered questionnaires and gave constructive feedback. All in all, users are satisfied with the developed system.</abstract>
