  <abstract>Business process management is a method of gathering management information. In order for management information to be managed successfully, a thorough understanding business processes is required. Process management is the only way to achieve the objectives with transparency, management control and accountability. However, business processes are very complex and fickle, so modeling business processes is needed to capture processes and their relations. There are many existing modelling languages that are used to model business processes, yet none of them can support all features of a good modelling language. A comprehensive evaluation and comparison throughout these modelling languages is very important which help enterprises to choose the best modelling language applied in their business system. In this study, three existing modelling languages including UML, BPML, and OWL-S are evaluated and compared which give audiences the advantages and disadvantages of each language so that they have an overview and more deeply understanding these languages.</abstract>
