  <abstract>An attempt is made to generalize the notion of Conceptual  Graphs (SOWA, 1984) to the notion of Conceptual Hypergraphs where  sets of concepts can be handled more conveniently. The  advantages of Conceptual Hypergraphs over Conceptual Graphs  include more expressive power by being able to handle multi layered data structures (OHSUGA, 1985). The mapping of graphs to  logical formulas are being investigated .</abstract>
