In this study , the existing construction management for progress control , materials, manpower and equipment at the Khao Laem Dam project has been discussed . A computer analysis for manpower allocation has been carried out. Furthermore , a proposed model. for d am construction management has been presented . Field data and information for the project were collected. According the the collected data, the management of this project seems to have insufficient manpower but too old plant machinery. Nevertheless, the delivery and procurement of materials are very sound. It is found by a computer analysis that the distribution of resources for saving manpower are easily identified. For future use. a management model is developed which could be applied to similar projects. It is apparent from this study that computer application is an essential component in complex construction management.
