  <abstract>The limitation of budget is the main cause of implementing  piped water supply in Thailand, so this study deals with  developing models available for predicting construction costs,  O&amp;M costs including operation unit costs of any plant existing.  Data performed in the study was collected from 334 waterworks  located in 10 regional PWA centers. Construction costs were  adjusted to the year 1984 and determined in 5 components  Intake, Treatment Unit, Distribution Systems, Non Process Parts and Administrative Expenses. O+M costs were also detennined in 5 sections - Chemicals, Energy, Labor, Maintenance materials and miscellaneous. Six mathematical models of construction costs and six of O&amp;M costs were developed from analysis of 334 waterworks data by two  methods of regression analysis - SPSS- X program and Curve Fitter program. The comparison of models shows the better applicability of models from SPSS- X program indicated by less standard deviation.</abstract>
