This study has presented the development of the advisory system for managing development and implementation of client/server system in a corporation. This advisory system provides information needs and roles of each managerial level, the concept of client/server technology, and guidelines and recommendations for managing the client/server project. Knowledge is classified into declarative knowledge, procedural knowledge and heuristic knowledge. This prototype has been developed by using KnowledgePro, Expert Choice and Visual Basic in the Windows environment.
