There are many robots used in the industry today. Articulated robots are one of many robot configurations used in the industry. Building and controlling one of these robots requires skill and experience. This report includes the methods used to design and control a 3 Degree Of Freedom articulated robot with a 1 Degree of Freedom gripper. This robotic arm has the function to pick and place objects. First the robot was designed, assembled and then it was programmed to be controlled using Arduino microcontroller and a User Interface.
