<br/><br/> This research study deals with the design and development of an on-line computerized system for purchasing subsystem of an  organization. The system consists of four files: purchase order master file , vendor master tile, quotation master file and budget master file .  The programs include creation of master files, update, inquiry and report generation. Purchase order master file creation, update and inquiry prog rams are implemented on IBM 3031 at the Asian Institute of Technology.
