  <abstract>A power system consists of power sources, called generating plants or generators, power end uses, called loads, and a transmission and distribution network that connects them. For a power system to be practical it must be safe, reliable and economical. For these reasons analysis must be performed to design and operate such a system. Basically, power system analysis covers power/load flow analysis, fault analysis, stability studies, power system control and so on. All of these different aspects of analyses involve huge amounts of numerical fo1mulation, simplification and calculation. Personal computers have become so powerful and advanced that they can be used to perform such large amounts of numerically complex and lengthy calculations. One of the difficulties of teaching power system analysis courses is not having a real system with which to experiment in the laboratory. Integration of computer ability into the curriculum will provide a more interactive and visualized environment for power system analysis educators and their students. This study will cover development of computer-aided tools for some aspects of power systems analysis, which can suppmt learning educational tool in computer-aided engineering laboratories.</abstract>
