A detailed dynamic model of a biomass fueled aqua-ammonia intermittent absorption refrigerator is reported. Biomass fuel feeding rate is the required input. Generator temperature, Ice Box temperature, Ammonia distilled rate, ammonia vaporization rate and effect of mass inertia of the various components can be predicted. A computerized ideal mathematical model is also presented. The programs are written in FORTRAN IV computing language. State point temperatures, pressures, ammonia concentrations, enthalpies, mass and efficiency of the cycle can be predicted. All the units are expressed in SI Units. Effects of ambient temperature changes is also presented. Experimental determination of relevant heat transfer data and Economic Evaluation are also included. Sensitivity analysis on the economic parameters is investigated. The Economic Evaluation showed that the Payback Period is about three years based on the city price of ice. Finally, several recommendations for future investigations are made.
