  <abstract>Exploitation of energy sources for generating electricity  should be studies and performed carefully. In this paper, a  tec hni c to reduce the initial cost of electricity generation and  the suitable si z e of nuclear power plant are studies.  The revenue requirement is applied in the study by taking  into account of some economic assumtions. The result obtained  will be a trend for planning the nuclear energy for electricity  generating for Thailand in the future.  From the study, By determining the cost of power plant at  1 200 MW. It can be found that, the costs of nuclear power plant  i s cheaper about 30 % than the coal-fired plant. The plant should  be separated into small size, for instance , 4x300 MW, to get more reliability.</abstract>
