Eng.) - Asian Institute of Technology, 1985 N2 - The effects of silt and mixing on biochemical oxygen consumption were investigated using BOD bottle series test. The adsorption of organic matter on silt was also investigated. The easily decomposable organic matter was adsorbed on silt and the amount of adsorption depended on the characteristics of organic matter. the presence of silt increased ultimate oxygen consumption (L). The mixing also increased ultimate oxygen consumption (L). Silt had no effect on deoxygenation coefficient (K). The effect of mixing on deoxygenation coefficient (k) was not revealed UR - http://203.159.5.9/ait-thesis/detail.php?q=B19841 ER -
