  <abstract>This study include brief discussions of the total water consumption of AIT campus, operation of water pumping system, energy and cost analysis for the present and proposed scheme. Saving of water in the distribution pipe lines has also been discussed.  From the study it can be concluded that saving of energy and water in pumping and distribution pipe lines can be done to curtail the consumption  of energy of AIT. </abstract>
