Sc.) - Asian Institute of Technology, 2015 N2 - Park benches are made abundant all over the world and from the recent past we have seen in developed countries that most ergonomic factors are taken into consideration. Due to the incorrect posture of sitting in most work places and home people have developed many health issues. In this project we have stressed on the human and how enjoyable it can be outdoors such as parks where there are abundance of trees are very healthy. In this project we concentrated on how the least amount of stresses and strains can be applied to humans. Since the adoption of smart phones from regular GSM mobile phones, and due to the immense consumption of battery power due to the high processing power and screen resolution, In this project we have let the public associated with AIT have access to free power. And since its renewable the AIT does not have to bear up the total cost of providing power. This phone charger uses the USB as the socket type since it is universal to smart phones used worldwide, we have also made it compatible for Tablet PCs such as I pads etc. There for the public can indulge in there activities in a more comfortable and a more relaxed seating position and do more while spending time relaxing at a bench in the park in around the AIT premises UR - http://203.159.5.9/ait-thesis/detail.php?q=B11975 ER -
