The main objective of this study was to analyze historical and future climatic trend of precipitation and temperature data for the Northern and Southern Songkhram river basin, Thailand. The historical analysis data has been obtained for 30 meteorological stations for the period of 1975 to 2005, characterizing a long term period with high quality data for eight annual extreme climate indices. The software used to process the data was the RClimdex 1.0. Similar software has been used to analyze the future climate extremes. Four Regional Climate Models (RCMs) has been ensemble to obtain future data. The analysis indicates that for historical precipitation has decreased and temperature has increased and for future the similar trend will continue. Also, indices data suggests that precipitation frequency will decrease whereas intensity will increase. Furthermore, maximum and minimum temperature shows significantly increasing trend for both Northern and Southern Songkhram river basin.
