This gave rise to the Corporate Rice Farming Program which requires domestic corporations and partnerships with 500 or more employees and are financially viable to provide for the rice requirements of its employees and their immediate families. The company may do this by either importation or the actual production of rice. In the light of changing situation, the features as well as the performance of the program are analyzed. The discussion was made on both the macro as will as the micro level. Two case studies are presented to show how compliance of a firm to the requirements of the Order proceeds in the project level. A most notable finding is that the big rice farms was not necessarily the more efficient rice producer. Small-scale farms if properly managed could perform better. Other findings are discussed in the conclusion. 0aAgricultural laws and legislationxPhilippines1 aGoede, J.H. de, eChairperson1 aDias, Hiran D., eExamination Committee1 aKammeier, Hans Detlef, eExamination Committee2 aFederal Republic of Germany, eScholarship Donor2 aAsian Institute of Technology.tThesis ;vno.
