In many inventory systems , the capital tied-u p in repairable items constitutes a significant portion of the total inventory stocking cost. This study develops some selected inventory models for both consumable and repairable items using Graphical Evaluation and Review Technique (GERT). Various measures of performance are determined 011 the repairable item inventory model for reorder point-order quantity (r, Q) policy. The model allows for random demand, random repair time , random lead time and random order size .
