Today, as the advance of modem technology, robots play an important role in human beings. Most of work can be done by robots. Human work power can save by using robots. Some robots can be replaced with human worker in some areas like assembling parts, moving heavy things, military and medical operations, and those which can risk human life. Robotic arms such as manipulators are widely used in industrial process. People use various kinds of intelligent robot in different area. However a robot needed to be controlled by a program or human by using joystick, gesture, android application and etc. In this project I will create my own Android application by using Java Eclipse. All the movements of robotic arm and chassis will be controlled by the application. This project mainly includes two parts: robotic arm and robotic chassis. The robotic arm consists of two servo motors and a gripper for picking and placing objects. The chassis consist of 4 DC motors and it can move forward, backward, left and right direction. HC-OS Bluetooth module will give a connection between Arduino Uno and the android application. The maximum controlled distance of the robot is 10m. The commands to the micro-controller can be sent by using laptop by means of USB cable. The main purpose of this project is to be replaced with human worker in hazardous areas and I hope it will also useful in some industrial process.
